With the four twin holes completed at Groete Creek, Gold Port is moving forward with on-going drilling of the targeted area.
The drill program at Groete Creek is moving forward. The core is being cut as each hole is completed, delivered to ACME Laboratories of Guyana for preparation and then shipped to ACME Laboratories of Canada for assay .
The Groete Creek West area has recently been optioned, extending the Company’s property holdings by 3,000 hectares.
A second drill rig is in transit to Guyana to be used at the Groete Creek exploration site.
The addition of the Groete Creek West Gold Project provides the Company with extensive holdings of prime exploration ground in the Groete Creek/Georgetown West area. The Company is looking forward to increasing the exploration activity in this area with their recent purchase of a second rig from Acker.
Just back from a recent visit to the drill site at Groete Creek/Georgetown West, President Adrian Hobkirk is pleased with the progress being made at the site. The crew is working skillfully to twin the historic drill holes of 1996 completed by Coeur d’Alene Mines. With the first hole completed, the team is nearing completion of the second hole.
The first drill hole has been completed at Groete Creek – twin drill hole to Coeur d’Alene’s 1996 hole TW11-013. The core has been pulled and placed in boxes for assay.
A second twin hole will begin immediately to continue this program.
