Corporate Overview

Gold Port Resources Ltd. is a gold exploration Company focused on advancing projects located in Guyana, South America.   The Company owns the 1538 hectare Groete Creek Gold Project, the location of significant historical exploration.  In the 1990′s, the project was drilled by  CADMICO ( 9 holes over 1915 meters ), and by Caribbean Basic Industries ( 1562 meters over 8 holes ) , a subsidiary of Coeur de Alene Mines. This historical work identified a gold copper body with approximately 1200 meters of strike running west to east across the property.  Gold Port is concluding a drill program at Groete Creek that is meant to define and confirm the historical gold zone to NI 43-101 standards. The Company also holds a purchase option on the Georgetown West Gold Project, which adjoins Groete Creek to the east.

The Company has a Head Office in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, an exploration office in Bellingham, Washington, USA and a Country Office in Georgetown, Guyana, South America. Gold Port is an established exploration company, owning it’s own equipment including three drill rigs. The Company’s shares trade on  the Toronto Venture Stock Exchange  (TSX-V)  under the symbol GPO.

The Company is actively seeking additional properties elsewhere in Guyana that have the potential to enhance the Company’s growth profile.
